More Issues than Vogue | No comments:

NO..not the red light..DAMMIT! OK so...totally my fault, my camera ran out of battery (I forgot to charge it) and it made that dreaded beeping noise EURGH!!!

Beeps never tend to be a happy sound...lets think about this for a second:

BEEP (out of battery)
BEEP BEEP BEEP (alarm clock)
BEEEEEEP (Car horn - usually means danger)
BEEP.BEEP.BEEP.BEEP (FIRRREEEEEEE)

Yeah, you guessed it, I do not like beeping noises, and this beeping noise in particular meant that I had to shoot this look on my iPhone, which will do but the quality isn't great, so sorry Dolls!

Don't you just love that feeling you get when you find a really great outfit and you're like TOTAL LOVE! Yeah. That's how I feel about this one.. after tearing my wardrobe apart trying to filter through my already worn clothes, I couldn't help but feel completely hopeless! WHAT TO WEAR!?!

Then it just all fell into place as per. Oh another all-black outfit? Oh but darling:

"Women who wear black, lead colourful lives"
- Neiman Marcus

This is the first time I have worn my Chanel pearls and oh how I love them. They are beyond beautiful, dazzling in fact and yet I haven't found an outfit with which I can pair them with...Until now!

Chanel pearls are classic and timeless and every Chanel woman wants them. However, I don't want to look middle-aged when I am 21 as they are quite the statement for a young woman, therefore they have been guarded in their box with it's bow wrapped tight eagerly awaiting to be worn. As I pieced together this rock-chic look, all black everything, I thought to myself 'something, just something is missing to just accentuate, compliment and break up the black...' Then it all fell into place, and VOILA!

This outfit was perfect for Daniella and Ben's bday bash! Happy Birthday Dolls! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Twenty One | No comments:

The big 2-1. I am now officially an adult yet somehow, I can't help feeling that I still don't have to behave like one. Every birthday I like to reflect on the year that I've had and I can't help but feel so fortunate and grateful for everything and everyone's support this year! The year of being 20...to me turning 20 was like OH CRAP okay life is really starting now, no longer a teenager and all that - but in hindsight I have had one of the best years of my life!

This year I have accomplished so much, here are some of my highlights:

- I founded The Sartorial Doll
- I got the job at Rolex HQ
- I ran my first marathon in Jerusalem, Israel for SHALVA (Time: 4Hours 18Minutes)
- I registered to run the 2015 Jerusalem Marathon for SHALVA
- I founded the SHALVA 2015 Mount Kilimanjaro climb taking place October 2015
- Raised over £3000 for SHALVA children's charity
- Interviewed by the Jewish News
- Awarded Style Icona of the Day and featured in their October issue online magazine

My involvement with Shalva Children's charity has been such a special part of my year and will continue to be close to my heart forever. It was so wonderful being able to raise such a great amount of money for such a beautiful cause and I have become a part of something so amazing. When I was in Israel I managed to meet all the children and I put forward the idea of getting a team together to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Shalva and... it's OFFICIAL. I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in October 2015 with my father; as well as friends of Shalva from Israel, New York and Canada....I CAN'T WAIT!

Meet Georgie Ricks, one of my more hilarious friends - If you have a birthday/night out coming up and want complementary tables, alcohol & entry in Chelsea's top nightclubs call Georgie on 07907593956
My friends are too cute, on my actual birthday they arranged a surprise dinner for me and it was perfect. I had already arranged my big party in the next coming weeks, booking out the Penthouse Suite of All Star Lanes in Brick Lane and couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday! We all indulged in a lovely dinner and then headed to Layla's; a local Lebanese cocktail shisha bar and restaurant where we drank our body-weight in Champagne. We then headed off to Esher's most recent bar/nightclub Bisoux Lounge where we were joined by more friends. I was spoilt rotten from hoards of clothes and shoes to Bvlgari earrings and sentimental gifts from my darling dolls!

My BFF Maria made me this montage of us.  TOTAL LOVE!

My mother bought me this gorgeous leopard print blouse from Zara...TOTAL LOVE! It is so chic and fitted perfectly with my American Apparel, Lamb skin A-line skirt, so obviously I made an outfit change before heading out to continue the parday!  I'm not usually a fan of leopard print, as I feel sometimes it can look tacky and often looks better on blonde's BUT this is an absolute fave. The collar is obviously amazing as it's large and a great shape, perfect for accessorising with my Chanel brooch. The cuffs which you will see in some of my other photos are tight around the wrists making for a perfectly fitted blouse.

My friend Charlie bought me this bouquet of exotic flowers..unique and unusual just like me! Total Love! Thanks Doll

My cake... OH MY GOD MY CAKE. Honestly, it was amazing, I just can't deal. We all know I am so completely obsessed by everything Chanel. I was so happy when this little gem when it was brought to me with sparklers and champagne...can you tell by the look on my face? Thank you so much Mummy! The detailing was incredible and it even trumped my 18th birthday cake, which can I say was also incredible. My 21st birthday cake was a chocolate gateaux made up on 7 layers of choccie cake and buttercream NOM NOM NOM.

My 18th Birthday cake was also pretty amazing! Thank you Mum!

George is my heart and soul - without him life would be dull - Meet my GBF

Mum's lovely BF richard made sure the champagne was constantly flowing....

The Varsity Doll | No comments:

Bomber Jacket. Check. ✔️ Hair Scrunchie. Check. ✔️ Frilly Socks. Check... ✔️ This is starting to sound like a 'What to pack' list for visiting an American High school for the day, but fortunately it's not. Whilst I am aware that the 'Varsity' trend was 'so AW13', I am also aware that the Bomber Jacket is the statement piece this season and well, they both merge into one trend to be honest! Many often comment on my 'back to school' style, and whilst Blair Waldorf can be an inspiration to many, this 'look' stretches far further than a shirt, skirt and bow combo. In this look I wanted to rein in that varsity style, in an American High school Cheerleader meets Shoreditch kinda way.

I absolutely love, l.o.v.e, LOVE this denim wash shift dress, from Topshop; whilst it may not be the most flattering fit, it can be carried off in an effortlessly cool and casual way. It sort of says...I really don't give a f*** without looking like you haven't showered in days. Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for this piece, as it was in fact borrowed (if not stolen.....) from my fellow doll, Claudia. When wearing this denim dress, I always throw in a pair of Topshop's Frilly Socks (obviously). From dusty pink, to baby blue, to black and white, to orange... I have it all, every single colour combination and trust me, I find ways to fit them into my outfits! I LOVE frilly socks with shoes! In this look I went for white frilly socks paired with black Mary-Jane's; due to the outfit being rather colourful, I felt the need to keep it plain and simple on the sock/shoe front. To complete the dress, I added a collar, of course - my most adorned collar being the Peter Pan collar, which mainly comes in the form of a lightweight, American Apparel, cropped shirt which slips under pretty much EVERYTHING.

THE BOMBER JACKET: This seasons must-have item. Mine? Has a 'B' on it obviously and is from Topshop. I got mine last year unfortunately, however I recently bought one similar (also with a 'B' on it) from Forever 21 and can confirm that Topshop are currently stocking some similar due to the highstreet being swarmed with bomber jackets right now. I see Varsity Jackets as an investment as they do come in and out of fashion fairly often. My most wanted bomber is from Opening Ceremony...except due to it being a bank-breaker I haven't been obliged to buy it YET. To top it off, I wore my hair 1/2 up with a velvety maroon hair scrunchie paired with retro-style aviator sunglasses in cream. Where my Pom Poms at?

I Double Denim Dare You! | No comments:

Do you dare to wear denim on denim? Hell Yeah! Finally my craze of layering denim on denim is set to become one of Spring's biggest trends, and whilst some of you are picturing that tragic moment when Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake rocked up to the American Music Awards in 2001 wearing that head-to-toe double denim wash combo..think again!

Queen B of Constance | No comments:

If only this was the Upper East-side; meeting on the steps of Constance for coffee and gossiping over invites for Blair's latest slumber party, but unfortunately, it isn't and however much we all wish we could be Blair and Serena, we aren't.

I first fell in love with this 'Sassy School Girl Style' waaaaaay back in 2007 (gosh that seems like forever ago) when Gossip Girl first aired..and I have loved it ever since. I would class this as one of my signature looks as I love mix and matching bows and collar accessories whilst pairing different shirts with different skirts; and of course then there is my power accessory - the velvet hairband. So simple, yet so effective, I am lost without it. This preppy-chic trend can be tailored to each season by adapting patterns, colours, shapes and styles. This week we see the latest trends unravel on London's catwalks at LFW. We can expect to see longer skirts this season, with the pencil skirt making a comeback, which is unfortunate for me seeing as I am only 5ft 5...
